Bequeathed to the National Trust by the 2nd Viscount Bearsted in 1948, Upton House & Gardens welcomes many thousands of visitors every year, who return time and time again to enjoy the special atmosphere of Upton House, and to support the National Trust in their conservation of the nation's heritage.
Throughout the year there is a diverse and lively programme of events, ranging from Civil War re-enactment to Have-A- Go Art days and cookery workshops.
