Taekwondo Self Defence

A picture for Taekwondo-Self-defence

Hello and welcome to this web site dedicated to the Milton Keynes and Banbury TAGB Taekwondo Schools. My name is Phil Thomas and I teach at both Schools, I hope you find the following information helpful and informative, giving you an insight into the training methods and structure of the clubs. Firstly I feel that any training schedule should be fun and enjoyable, so if your idea of a Martial Arts club is being ordered around and trained to exhaustion, then these are not the clubs for you! Depending on your needs and objectives we have three separate classes. One dedicated to the beginner (this may be you) and the remaining classes moving up to intermediate, and advanced levels. There are many different aspects of Martial Arts training and most students find their favourite disciplines. So in all classes we cover, fitness, agility, Basic self- defence, sparring and pad work. So whatever your aims and goals you will find something of interest, within the training package. In all classes you will find a friendly and relaxed atmosphere (ask any existing student). You will train within your own personal limits at all times, progressing at a rate that suits you, as an individual. We also arrange social events throughout the year as well as competitions and seminars. All of these events are optional, as I do appreciate that different people want different things, from their training. I do understand that the most difficult step is that very first step. 35years ago I walked into a gymnasium to take a look at something called ‘Korean Karate’ (Taekwondo). To say that day changed my life for the better is an understatement. Phil Thomas – Instructor 4th Degree Black Belt

We offer a FREE TRY IT LESSON to all new beginners, with NO OBLIGATION. We DO NOT charge any Joining or Enrolments fees whatsoever. You dont require any special clothing. So what have you got to lose - Come along and give it a try - FOR FREE!
