The local Macmillan Cancer Support Committee (formally Macmillan Cancer Relief) raises funds to help those with Cancer and their relatives to live as good and fullfilling lives as possible during treatment for all forms of Cancer.
Locally we raise money to fund the wonderful Macmillan Nurses who are so loved and respected by all who come in contact with them. We also give grants to patients with Cancer to help them pay for electricity, gas and water bills and for respite care if they run into difficulties
We have Flag Days! We have Coffee Mornings! We hold Fashion Shows! We go on Gruelling Hikes! We hold Alternative Therapy Evenings! We do anything to raise the profile of the charity and help Cancer Sufferers to LIVE!
