Committee
Parents run the Playgroup & Toddler
Group.
This works by forming a management
committee at the Annual General Meeting
of the Playgroup & Toddler Group. This
committee is made up of ordinary
parents who come forward to stand for
positions which are held for at least
one year. There is a minimum number of
parents required to attend the AGM,
under the Preschool Learning Alliance
(PLA) rules and therefore it is
imperative that as many parents as
possible attend. It is also a great
opportunity to hear what the Playgroup
and Toddler Group have achieved in the
past year. All voters at the AGM must
be parents or guardians, and anyone is
welcome to stand for committee
positions.
Monthly meetings of the committee and
staff members are held to keep everyone
informed. A committee/staff list and
the minutes of the last meeting are
published on our notice board, located
in the main hall.
