Welcome to the web site of the Bicester & District Gymnastics Club.
The club is a small friendly women’s artistic gymnastics club. We do have a small number of male members who happily train alongside of the female gymnasts. The bulk of the club is what is classed as “Recreational Gymnastics” with about 1/3 of the members in county level competition squads.
Established in 1973 and based at the Bicester & Ploughley Sports Centre. The club is a British Gymnastics GymMark approved Club. The GymMark scheme has been developed by British Gymnastics, in partnership with Sport England and the Home Country Sports Councils, to provide recognition for clubs that are committed to providing quality gymnastics experiences. Gaining GymMark accreditation will mean you will be recognised by British Gymnastics, Sport England and the Home Country Sports Councils as a safe, effective and child friendly club, providing a service in the community, that children and young people, their parents / carers, and others with an interest in gymnastics, can trust.
