Although details of Parish Council Meetings are contained in the Minutes, also on this website, this page is intended to show the 'hot topics' being dealt with by the Parish Council.
The Parish Council has prepared this list of ideas to improve the village. We will be investigating how to make them happen.

Partition for smaller groups d. Car Park (extend, re-tarmac car park across the top of the football field). 3. New Bus Stops (2) 4. Widening of Green Lane access road (if allowed) or replacement of bollards. 5. Village Gates (5 bar at entrance to both villages) with flower tubs 6. Pond Refurbishment 7. New Notice Boards • Next to Bus Stop near the Village Hall • Next to the Bus Stop near the Tally Ho • Outside Village Shop 10. Upgraded Broadband
Village Pond - The PC has been looking at ways to make the village pond more attractive and more part of the village Green. We engaged a pond expert who advised us there are no endangered species in the pond (crested Newts) so we will now proceed to present plans and once approved request grants to complete the project.
Village Green - We have plans to remove the tarmac area, where the playpark used to be, and turn the area back to grass. We are working with Print Run, to investigate a mutual partnership to improve that whole area.
The County Council has confirmed they will be replacing the two concrete bus stops (Murcott Rd and Village Green), with modern shelters. The work is expected to start very soon. The PC is looking at a proposal to install Real Time Information Signs at each Bus Stop.
